Does LipSense Work?

See How LipSense Performed in Three Days of Intense Testing

Here are the tests I put LipSense long wearing lipstick through:

I wore LipSense Cranberry LipSense Cranberry on my 6 mile run. In the Georgia summer heat. Several times over the previous few weeks I had spotted this guy riding his bike along my regular running route. It's a popular spot for folks to run and ride. The day I tested the Cranberry LipSense he stopped to talk to me. I was horrified to be seen running with makeup on. (guy friends later assured me he probably didn't notice) I wanted to explain but I couldn't move the conversation in that direction. Anyway I got home and the Cranberry LipSense still looked perfect. (Me, not so perfect.)

The next day I wore Dark Pink LipSense Dark Pink swimming. I believe I swam for about an hour. After the swim I caught a glimpse of myself in the lockerroom mirror. I looked like a synchronized swimming star with my white swim cap and PERFECT Dark Pink lips. I was startled, but&. WOW!

On the third day I was going to be working all day. When I am doing my consulting work, I am at the office by 7am and I don't leave until after 7pm. The Dark Pink LipSense held up all day. Through breakfast, 2 snack breaks, all day coffee and lunch (they feed us well). I had never experienced that kind of staying power with lipstick.

(I also tested the eye makeup and foundation but that is a story for another day.)

And you know what, even with all the running and swimming, my lips didn't get dry. Now at the time it wouldn't even have occurred to me. But since then I have heard people say that some long lasting brands have made their lips dry. LipSense is quite the opposite; the shea butter actually heals any dryness you might have. (I'll give you my theory and research into why some brands seem to dry you out. If you are interested, just ask.)
