I really encourage you to buy the starter kit/  In my experience, you won't get the same results without using the LipSense gloss.  I had rather you not buy LipSense at all if you aren't going to get good results.  If you aren't happy you will tell all your friends "I tried that stuff and it didn't work".  And I won't be there to say "the gloss, the gloss, you need to use the gloss". And it does work.
