What do other people say about LipSense long lasting lipstick? |

I drank a soda, ate a meal, wiped gently with a napkin, and even kissed a refrigerator (don't ask) before finally accepting that this stuff wasn't coming off without some serious effort. Megan also tried removing the LipSense and experienced the same difficulties, though she was thrilled to find them. She had also applied some lip liner (not SeneGence) and THAT was coming off while the LipSense stayed on. The girls who tried LipSense were genuinely impressed with it. They each said they would be willing to foot the $40.00 price tag, [NB: $40 is for the LipSense starter kit consisting of Lipcolour, Gloss and Remover, a one time purchase] and they felt that it might actually be cheaper since they wouldn't have to keep re-applying the lipstick. -Rob Mooring -KRBC9 News

We had a number of women try these much hyped lipsticks and put them through a rigorous test working, working out, eating and the kiss test... you know, regular day-to-day activities.
The winner was Lipsense... a newer product that you can't buy in stores... only through distributors. It's not cheap... it's about $20 per tube.
Our testers loved it... the only "drawback"... it does take a little extra work with baby oil and a washcloth to get off at the end of the day.

Good Points
This is the best thing since sliced bread. I'm getting rid of everything else.
Bad Points
If you don't use the lip-gloss, it's process of application isn't finished & the lip gloss completes the application.
General Comments
I put Senegence LipSense All Day Lip Color on early in the morning on Saturday & washed everything but my lips that evening. Sunday, My lips still looked as good ,even through the evening.

Good Points
LipSense stays on from morning to bedtime. Does not smear, smudge, wipe off on cups, wine glasses teeth clothes, grandchildren! LipSense NEVER feathers and I can draw completely outside my lipline to make my lips fuller for the first time in my life and have complete confidence that it will be there until I go to bed.

I have not worn a wax-based "lipstick" since I started wearing Senegence LipSense All Day Lip Color 5 years ago. I will NEVER go back to lipstick! This is a product that every woman has said at one time or another, "why doesn't someone make a lip color that doesn't come off?" SOMEONE finally did!! The other SeneGence products are just as unique as LipSense and have taken years off my appearance. |

Good Points
Lasts without drying, great selection of colors plus ability to blend different colors, very moisturizing without feeling heavy. Product performs better after wearing it consistently for a week to 10 days. Lips have not been chapped since started wearing product.
Bad Points
The initial tingling of product when apply to lips.
General Comments
LipSense actually delivered what it promised. Lip color that stayed on without drying my lips. I almost gave up on the product as I found I needed to gloss quite often during the first week of use. Than all of a sudden I realized I was applying the gloss only after I ate. I find the color stay perfect on me for around 7 hours and than I may need to touch up in the middle of my lips. However, if I apply gloss a little more often, it lasts longer. I love the fact I can have a very soft natural look or a very dramatic look with all the colors available to blend. |

I tried this for the first time and found that the tube lasted 6 months! And it became the only lip color I used, so I didn't waste money on others. Because of that, I consider it not quite as expensive as I first thought.
I generally applied it at 8am, then after lunch, and again after work. Some color would remain, but I would freshen it, and it would STAY looking fresh. In that way I did find it to be an "all-day" color, and looking a lot more fresh than anything else I ever had used.
You do have to learn to apply it right the first time, and it's fine. Once it's on, it looks fresh and you don't have to bother with it again. And it really doesn't kiss off, and doesn't leave stupid marks on cups. I think it's the way to go.
Bad Points
You have to learn to apply it correctly, so pay attention to the directions and you'll be fine. Don't use a "back & forth" scrub-brush type movement, or it may dry out and not look even. It's a smooth paint-on movement. And it's a 2-step process where the gloss finishes it.
General Comments
Learn to use Senegence LipSense All Day Lip Color correctly and it will stay fresh looking all day.
For me, it became my "natural color", and I found it a much more fuss-free than anything else I've found. I don't like to primp all day; I like to get dressed and get out of the door. I'd recommend it for a professional person.
